Have all household hazardous waste items ready and set out in boxes at end of curb/driveway by 10:00 a.m.
- A response team will be making the rounds to collect items set out in the designated area of Douglas County.
- Curbside/’end of driveway’ household hazardous waste pickup for the following areas; City of Forada/Hudson Twp Area Cleanup – south of 1-94.
- If this special collection event doesn’t work for you, simply drop your household hazardous waste items at the Pope/Douglas Recycling/HHW Drop Area in Alexandria (2115 Jefferson Street) – open M-F 8-5 and Sat 9-2.
Accepting paints, adhesives, flammables, caulks, adhesives, roofing tar/sealers, pesticides, aerosols, toxins, rechargeable batteries, bulbs and more.
NO motor oil/filters accepted at curbside collection.
- Bring to oil change shop, Pope/Douglas Solid Waste Recycling Drop in Alexandria, or Plaza Tire & Auto in Alexandria.
